Pedestal

To set this glass sculpture by Paul Schwieder in scene, my clients were interested in an illuminated pedestal. Using a high gloss enamel finish and an acrylic top plate, this custom designed pedestal achieved the crisp look my clients and I were looking for.

Illuminated Quartzite

This wonderful project came to completion in summer of 2014 and brought additional spark to my client’s home.

Brasilian quartzite is a semi-translucent stone with beautiful color variations. When back-lit the structural details and three-dimensional features of this stone stand out phenomenally.

Customer Review:

Scott did much of the tiling in our new Vermont home and some of its special features. His craftsmanship is superb – he pays great attention to detail, offers creative advice and ultimately helped us translate our ideas into a reality that exceeded our expectations.
He designed a complex lighting system that made it possible to smoothly illuminate a massive stone back-splash that sets our kitchen aglow.  In addition, we commissioned him to build a custom pedestal of light that transforms and highlights a fine glass sculpture making an eye-catching addition to our beautiful new home.
We cannot recommend anyone more highly than Scott.
